Cristen Drummond is a versatile Emmy-nominated journalist who covers a variety of stories from breaking news to features. 


She most recently reported and fill-in anchored at KLAS, the CBS affiliate in Las Vegas. She also worked in North Carolina as a general assignment reporter / anchor for Spectrum News. Her stories aired in the Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro and Wilmington markets as well as WXLV, the local ABC affiliate in Greensboro. Cristen started her broadcast career as a weekend anchor and weekday reporter for WGXA FOX 24 / ABC 16 in Macon, Ga. She was also a correspondent for Westwood One / Dial Global's subsidiary Go Radio at the 2012 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. 


Over the years, Cristen's covered a number of stories including the Season 13 American Idol auditions in Atlanta, 2015 Final Four basketball games in Indianapolis, 2016 presidential rallies in North Carolina and COVID-19 in Nevada. The governor's office named her a Nevada Hero of the Day in June 2020 for her reporting during the pandemic.


Her extensive experience reporting in the field and from behind the anchor desk has made her a recognizable and trustworthy journalist among the community. This has helped her develop sources, enterprise stories and share exclusive content.


Cristen was born and raised in Los Angeles. She graduated number one in her class from the Donald W. Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada.
